- Allied Arts of Whatcom County
Allied Arts of Whatcom County is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to create and foster an environment in which the arts are an integral part of our community and to support and encourage the artists of Whatcom County.
It is a community arts organization that serves more than 50,000 people annually through programs, events and services which focus on arts education, community arts events and supporting local artists.
It is committed to innovative arts education programs in local schools that link professional artists, teachers, and students through the AAEP.
Allies Arts Education Project (AAEP) is committed to supporting our community develop equal access arts education programs that create cultural awareness, engage all intelligences, and promote the value of arts as basic education.

Volunteer opportunities include festival committee positions, festival set-up and break-down, and artist support, customer service and security positions throughout festivals.

- Bellingham Festival of Music
The Bellingham Festival of Music is a non-profit organization formed in 1993 whose mission is "to provide the area with educational opportunities, to experience live music performances at the highest artistic level by nationally and internationally renowned musicians in a concentrated festival format."
Over the past ten seasons, the Festival has presented over 150 concerts reaching nearly 85,000 people. Many of these performances aired on National Public Radio, reaching thousands more.
The Festival's educational programs reach all ages and have included Elderhostels, the Jaroslav Pelikan Institutes, pre-concert lectures, open rehearsals, and the popular Beethoven in the Schools interactive educational program, which in the four years of its existence has reached over 12,000 children.
The Festival annually has presented fifteen concerts of mainly classical and chamber music but also presents some jazz and ethnic music programs.

The Bellingham Festival of Music benefits from the valuable and invaluable services provided by its many Friends of the Festival.
There are many tasks throughout the year that volunteers can assist with: clerical, ushering, greeters, homestays for musicians, fundraising event planning, parties, receptions and more.

- Dance Gallery
Dance Gallery is a unique, multigenerational collaborative founded in '91, of modern dancers who aim to foster the growth and appreciation of modern dance in our community.
Dance Gallery offers on-going classes, opportunities to perform, choreograph and teach, and attend workshops with guest teachers.
This past year they were co-sponsors with Bellingham Parks & Recreation of multigenerational movement classes and special workshops for children and the disabled.
Dance Gallery was a recipient of a '99 Mayor's Arts Award for outstanding contribution to the growth of arts in Bellingham.

- The Power of Hope
The Power of Hope unleashes the positive potential of youth through arts-centered intergenerational and multicultural learning programs that value self-awareness, leadership, community and social change.
The Power of Hope programs are for youth and young adults who want to take an active role in creating a positive future, develop their leadership skills, build stronger communities and have a great time in the process.
They are a non-religious, non-profit organization operating in Washington state and British Columbia with multi-day programs for youth in the summer and during the school year.

- The Mount Baker Theatre
The Mount Baker Theatre organization exists to provide arts, entertainment, and social interaction which, through a wide variety of programs, results in personal enrichment, enjoyment, and a sense of community for diverse audiences in the region; and to preserve the restored historic Mount Baker Theatre as a home for local performing arts organizations, film, a venue for touring performers, and community events.
The Mount Baker Theatre in downtown Bellingham's Arts District is the largest performing arts facility of its kind north of Seattle.
A beautifully restored 1927 architectural treasure, listed on the register of National Historic Places, the theatre is dedicated to showcasing some of the best live performing artists on both the professional and community levels for audiences in the North Puget Sound area and the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.
With rousing family programs, dazzling Broadway shows, renowned classical artists and explosive rock acts, the Mount Baker Theatre ignites the imagination of audiences of all ages.

For continuation of The Wade Bennett King Education Series at the Mount Baker Theatre, which is a community service provided by the Theatre for Whatcom and Skagit County public, private and home schools. This exceptional program enriches school curriculums by providing students the opportunity to enjoy live performances that have direct correlation to literature, arts, history and even science.
